Man willing to go to heaven or even making some effort is to no avail if he does not meet the God’s condition of God’s election, which is foreseen faith. If man refuses to believe, he cannot get around God and storm the gates of heaven by his might. Without God’s mercy, he cannot make it. And without faith, he will not have God’s mercy.
