One Bible Commentary on Romans 9: 5

1

For Christ is “the son of David, the son of Abraham.” (Matthew 1:1) and according to Peter, David “being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;” (Acts 2:30) According to the flesh, Christ is the son of Abraham through David, but according to the spirit he is God over all and blessed forever.
