Song of Solomon 1: 10 Commentary

1. There is NOTHING wrong
a. With women wearing jewelry
b. To ENHANCE their beauty
2. Speaking as a red-blooded American male
a. I can tell you for a FACT
b. That ACCESSORIES
c. Such as earrings and necklaces
d. Are a MAJOR plus
e. To enhance the beauty
f. Of a woman
3. It must AGAIN be emphasized
a. That men are SIGHT-ORIENTED
b. And turned-on
c. By what they SEE
4. If you do NOT want
a. To turn on your husband
b. Then that is YOUR decision
5. If you are the type of woman
a. Who simply does not CARE
b. About enhancing your beauty
c. For your own husband
d. Then that TOO
e. Is YOUR decision
6. But you are NOT helping the marriage
a. In fact AIDING in its harm
b. And potential destruction
7. Your husband may lack the GUTS
a. To tell you of his TRUE feelings
8. But he is STILL a man
a. And WILL turn elsewhere
b. To find his fulfillment
9. With a 50% DIVORCE rate
a. Even among professing CHRISTIANS
10. You would THINK that people
a. Would WANT to heed the advice
b. Of God‘s written word on the subject
11. THIS gal got it RIGHT
a. Desiring and taking steps
b. To be attractive to her husband
c. And it WORKS
