1. Wives want to be involved
a. In ALL aspects of their husband‘s lives
2. This is NOT about being nosey or untrusting
a. But because they desire
b. To be connected with us
c. And considered part of the TEAM
3. It brings them joy
a. To share in our joy
4. Women want details about our lives
a. Not two-word summaries
b. As we men are want to do
5. They want those with whom we work
a. To know who THEY are
b. That they are our WIVES
6. The Hebrew here implies
a. She did NOT just want
b. To be thought of as some
c. No-name prostitute
d. (Think the movie “Pretty Woman”)
e. Who wandered in and out of his life
f. When the social situation
g. Called for him to have an escort
7. Wives want to know they are special
a. And they want everyone ELSE
b. To know they are special
c. And not just “one of the gals”
d. Or as just “one of the guys”
8. Men, when you are together in public
a. Others NEED to know
b. That YOUR wife is special
c. Intimately connected to you
d. And NOT an afterthought
e. Or a “trophy-wife”
f. There for just her looks
g. But not REALLY part of you
