2 Bible Commentaries on Song of Solomon 2: 6
G
1
The Shulamite woman recalled a recent event in which Solomon invited her to eat at his place. After eating, Solomon and the woman reclined or reposed in a bed, likely on Solomon’s green bed. Having right-hand dominance, Solomon slipped his left hand under the woman’s head. And, with his right hand he held her fondly, lovingly, and tenderly.
