Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

1. Wives tend to be MORE intuitive than men
a. And can sense when the romance
b. Is suffering faster than husbands can
2. She wants them both
a. To get away and be alone together
b. And to smooth out
c. Any potential rough edges
d. In their sex life
3. A relaxed, secure and romantic setting
a. Is a perfect place to rekindle
b. The spark of romance
c. And to renew intimate closeness
4. So husbands, be sensitive to your wife‘s desire
a. To “get away” together
5. For her intuitions are often
a. Right on the mark
6. The state of your marital harmony
a. Is more important than saving money
b. For that new trolling motor
c. Or hunting rifle
7. Your wife wants to spend time alone with YOU
a. For sexual renewal and intimacy
8. Only a foolish husband would say no
a. To an offer like this

Solomon is being told by the queen, “Lets get out of town for while, maybe go to that nice B & B in the country side.” (country is a reference to vs. 11)

Also note that it is Spring, which is the time of year they got married, so this might not be spontaneous. However, there is something strong about steadfastness and diligence in an aged and growing relationship.
